Are you in for a savoury flavoured hot delicious soup? Then ramen is your deal my friend. This recipe boosts some strong spinach power to pump up those lean Popeye muscles! Its healthy, its delicious and much easier than you think.


-2 servings

Ramen noodles*  -150gr
Spinach -a handfull of leaves (be generous its good for you)
Eggs  -2pc
Dihydrated sea algies  -3 tablespoons
Mushrooms  -80gr
Fresh Ginger  -1/2 teaspoon (rasped)
Garlic – 1 glove
Sesame seeds  -just a bit for seasoning
Sesame oil -3 tablespoons
Tamari sauce -3 tablespoons
Soja sauce -2 tablespoons


Soup: Add the sesame oil, Tamari sauce, Soja sauce and the finely sliced garlic in a wok. Add a liter of water , throw the sea algies in and start heating it up. Once boiling you can set your clock for 15 mins. In a separate pan you can start boil water for the noodles and in a smaller one you can do the same for the eggs. After 15mins algies should be ready so you can add the Spinach, the mushrooms and the ginger and stear it well. Switch off the stove and let it rest so the Mushroom and  Spinach can absorbe the heat and the amazing sesame/soja/tamari juices.
Noodles: I trust you can cook a pack of noodles but I want to share something that worked for us. The trick with asian type of noodles that we boil the water, drop the noodles in but we swith off the stove and wait. (depends on the noodles but 10-15 mins) This way it will not get overcooked so easily. This especially good with soups as in the hot soup later the pasta get some aditional heat.
Eggs: Hard boil the eggs… yup no further instructions on that one 🙂


Put the pasta in a ball and spoon the delecious soup on it. Cut the hard boiled eggs in half and put them in the ball too on the top of all. Use some sesame seeds to season and further pimp up the looks of it. Enjoy!

We have made a ramen with spinach to get as strong as Popeye !! 🙂 This recipe also takes eggs, mushrooms, pasta and tofu. It has been extremely good and is very easy to prepare. 


We leave everything you need here: 

2 people :

  • 150gr de pasta asiática
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons dried seaweed 
  • Some fresh ginger 
  • 80g mushrooms 
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Some sesame 
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons tamari sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 liter of water 


Within the wok, add sesame oil, soy sauce, tamari and the garlic clove finely chopped. Add water and algae. Cook for 15 minutes.

While you can start preparing the dough and boiled eggs in other pans … (see the package to see how to cook the pasta).

Once 15 minutes have passed, turn off the heat the wok and add the mushrooms, ginger and spinach. Wait about 10 minutes to catch the vegetables taste. 

Finally gets a large bowl and add the pasta, wok vegetables and boiled egg cut in two.
