Bio salmon & veggies

veggies bulgur and bio salmon 2

Ingredients: 250g bulgur / bio salmon /1/2 broccoli/ 8 mushrooms /140gr spinach/ 1 lemon / 3 cloves of black garlic/ olive oil/ salt&pepper

We have a bio shop close to our flat and they had bio-salmon. The price was 8 or 9 euros, so we wanted to try it out. Sometimes, bio or local is not so expensive compared to the supermarket and better for our health.

We love salmon so we were really curious to taste it but before we tried it, we noticed a big difference. The salmon had a intense color and it didn’t have any white stripes !! AMAZING ! It was as if we discovered a ” real ” salmon, it’s a good and weird feeling…

The taste was just perfect and we would like to share our recipe.

Our recipes want to be fast, easy and good so don’t worry if you don’t have one or two ingredients it will be still good ! 😉

You can be creative and add more veggies as well ! Sometimes we put feta and cherry tomatoes in also!

2 pers

  • bio salmon
  • 1/2 broccoli
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 250 gr bulgur
  • 140 gr spinach
  • 1 lemon
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 3 cloves of black garlic
  • salt&pepper

We are cooking all the veggies and the bio salmon by steaming them with olive oil adding salt and pepper. ( 200°C/20min). You can cook them in the oven as well but add the black garlic and some fresh parsley on top, it’s so delicious ! ( 200°C/20min more or less )

On the side, cook the bulgur. Follow the instructions on our package.

When everything is done, you can add lemon and black garlic!

If you have some feta and fresh parsley then just add that in as well !! It’s so good !!

Do you not know what black garlic is?! For us, when it’s warm it’s taste is like a balsamic cream ! Pretty good no?? 🙂

The black garlic has lots of good benefits, here is a list of them:

  1. Reducing inflammation (reduces risk of osteoarthritis as mentioned in the video above)
  2. Boosting immune function (antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and antiparasitic properties)
  3. Improving cardiovascular health and circulation (protects against clotting, retards plaque, improves lipids, and reduces blood pressure)
  4. Toxic to 14 kinds of cancer cells (including brain, lung, breast, and pancreatic)

You can find it in any bio shop.

Si no, estará bueno igual! 🙂
