
Vegetarian burgers without bread
For 2 people
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes.
- 2 teaspoons fresh or dried thyme.
- 15ml olive oil.
- 1 tomato.
- 1/2 avocado.
- 1/2 lime.
- 2 leaves of spinach or any salad that you have.
- 2 seitan burgers with carrot from Casa Amella brand.
- salt and pepper
First, turn on the oven to 200 ° C.
Cut the potatoes into medium thick slices.
Put them in a tray with baking paper.
Pour olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper over it.
Bake for 30-40 min.
During this time, you can start cleaning and chopping your vegetables.
You can cut the avocado into small pieces or you can also crush it. Put some lime juice with salt and pepper on it.
Then you have two ways to cook the patty, in a pan with oil or in the oven without oil.
If you prefer the oven, after 30min (the potatoes have to be already gold/brown ) put them in another tray with baking paper.
Bake for 15-20 mins more. (Potatoes and pattys together)
When we usually see that there is some space in the oven we like to put other vegetables for having another dish so we save money and time. (Carrot, zucchini, mushrooms …)
Let’s start to make a burger with potatoes and patties.
Order should be: Potato underneath, avocado, patty, leaf of spinach and tomatoes.
We also love to add the sauce from Casa Amella that we had in the fridge, it’s for patatas bravas and it was perfect for our burger. But of course you can put different ingredients or sauces . 🙂
