SALTY POWER BALLS
For +/-10 small power balls
- 50 gr raw pistachio nuts (without shell)
- 40 gr raw cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- salt and pepper
- some dry spelt crackers/cookies from the brand El Granero Integral
Start with putting the crackers in your blender, mix them at medium/high speed for a few minutes, until you get a powder. Put it aside
Then, put in your blender the pistachio nuts, cashew nuts, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix everything at medium/high speed for 3 to 5 minutes.
Then put the mixture into a bowl and start to make small balls using your hands.
These have to become very compact, so do not hesitate to tighten them well.
We served them with a little bit of balsamic cream.
Now you only have to eat then! :), but they also preserve well in the fridge!
