Oven made calçots toasts, with some organic calçots sauce
For 4 toast < 2 people:
- 4 calçots (spring onions, typical in Catalonia)
- salt & pepper
- olive oil
- juice of ½ a lemon
- 4 slices cereal bread
- some parmesan cheese powder
- 1 jar of Casa Amella organic calçots sauce
Heat the oven to 180°C.
Meanwhile, clean the calçots, remove the first layer and cut the ends.
Then place them on the baking tray, on the cooking paper.
On the top sprinkle the olive oil, lemon juice, salt & pepper.
Put the tray in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the calçots become golden brown.
On a thick slice of bread, spread a layer of organic calçots sauce from the brand Casa Amella.
Add the cooked calçot in the middle of the toast, on the top sprinkle some parmesan and bake again for 5-6 minutes, until the bread is toasted!
