Porridge with chocolate and peanut butter
For 2 people:
Ingredients:
- 100 gr oat flakes from the brand El Granero Integral
- 140 ml almond milk
- 300 ml water
- 2 pitted dates (previously soaked in mineral water for 10 minutes)
- 25 gr dark chocolate for cooking
- 4 teaspoons panela sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
- 2 teaspoons peanut butter
In a small saucepan, put the oatmeal, dates (previously cut into small pieces), almond milk and water, and bring to a boil.
Now add the vanilla, sugar, and the dark chocolate pieces, let it melt over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
In the meantime, you can prepare your own peanut butter (which can of course also be previously done, as it preserves well in the fridge! ^^)
For peanut butter:
Either you buy the organic one in your grocery shop or you can make one, following my recipe right here, it’s very easy to make and it preserves well in the fridge.

For our recipe, add 1 teaspoon of peanut butter per person.
We added some strawberries, kiwi, and dried coconut chips, but let your imagination run wild, adding different fruits, like- bananas, figs, and pears. Which also go very well with this recipe!
Mix the peanut butter while the porridge is still hot!
Et voilà, enjoy!
