Black vegetarian burger with activated carbon
Ingrédients :
For about 4 burger buns :
- 260 g organic flour t65
- 2 teaspoons organic carbon
- 140 ml oat milk
- 2 teaspoons organic cane sugar
- 2 tablespoons organic virgin olive oil
- 2 pinches of salt
- 1 bag dry baker’s yeast
- Some black and normal sesame seeds
For the filling:
- 4 vegetarian burgers of your choice
- 1 red onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 small zucchini
- some organic virgin olive oil
- salt & pepper
In the bread machine, a pastry processor or just a salad bowl, put all the necessary ingredients to make the hamburgers (except the sesame seeds). Mix everything well, until you get a ball of dough that does not stick to the sides. If necessary, add some extra flour.
Let the dough to rest for about an hour under a clean fabric so that the dough would rise.
Heat the oven to 170 ° C.
During this time, form 4 small balls and place them on the cooking tray which is previously covered with the baking paper. You can flatten them a little, spread with vegetable milk, and sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top.
Next, bake for about 20 minutes.
Remove them from the oven and let cool down.
Meanwhile, cut the red onions into thin rings, the zucchini lengthwise into thin slices, using a mandolin, and finally the pepper in 4 large pieces.
In the first frying pan, over very low heat, cook the red onions on one side, and the red pepper on the other, with some olive oil, for at least 15 minutes. Stir from time to time with a wooden spoon and turn the sides of the red peppers so they would get cooked on both sides. Season with salt and pepper.
In a second frying pan, pour some olive oil and fry the zucchini on both sides. This requires only a few minutes if the slices are thin.
Finally, heat the vegetarian burgers on a frying pan with some olive oil, or just in the oven.
Now all you have to do now is to prepare your own hamburgers.
Cut the burger buns in half and put on all the ingredients, following the example in the photo! >> Bread + pepper + burger + zucchini + red onion + bread.
Et voilà, it’s done!
